The Goat Who Walked Away
It started like any other story. A farm. A fence. A goat.

But this one didn’t end the way anyone expected.
One day, a goat from a farm nearby Spodnja Idrija - a village in Slovenia (locally named Fara), made a choice: she walked away. No daring escape, no last look back—just a quiet decision that farm life wasn’t for her. leaving behind the fields, the meadows, the other animals, and the life she was supposed to live.
The farmer, of course, did what farmers do. He went after her, found her, and brought her home. End of story, right?Wrong. The goat had other plans.
She escaped again—this time, for good. She vanished into the steep hills above Fara, leaving behind her old life.

Days turned into weeks. Seasons passed. The villagers watched in amazement. They called her Pr’farska Kaza—The Fara Goat.
They told stories about her.
She became a legend.
She braved storms, and thrived in the untamed landscape, no fences, no rules—just peaks, forests, and the freedom she had chosen.
And she lived this way for 18 years.
Then, on April 1, 2017, she took her final steps. Some thought it was an April Fools’ joke—because of course the world’s most stubborn goat would leave on a day made for tricksters. But it wasn’t a joke. Her legend was real. And the locals honored her the only way that made sense—they opened a memorial book at the local bar.

This isn’t just a story about a goat. It’s a story about instinct. About walking your own path, even when no one understands why.
And that’s where we come in.
We love a good escape story. Ours just happens to involve furniture and lights.

Farakaza was born from that same spirit.
crafting designs that step beyond the expected, embracing heritage with rebellion, tradition with a twist.
If you’ve read this far, maybe you, too, believe in something a little wilder.
Maybe you’d like to take a piece of that spirit with you.
